


Chef David has had the pleasure of owning a couple restaurants, a gourmet grocery store and a wine & cheese shop in his twenty year career. He now enjoys teaching cooking classes through laughter and the love of food. David also is the founder of a non-profit, 86 Hunger Now, that serves the working poor of his community where his clients and volunteers gain cooking experience. You can also catch him cooking Wednesday Supper at Southport Trinity United Methodist Church as he is the Director of Food Services.

At Cooking with Chef David Scott, we believe that cooking is an art form. We teach our students to approach cooking with creativity and passion, and to take pride in their work. We believe that cooking should be enjoyable as well as challenging, and we strive to make our classes both fun and educational.
Currently teaching at Little Olive Co located on Princess St, Downtown WIlmington.

Polish immigrants made this dumpling famous in this country. David's great-grandma help make thousands of these in her church basement perfecting her craft. Haluski is made from the scrap dough turned into noodles, cooked with bacon, cabbage and onions.
